The student who was with us during May has started a training as pre school teacher. She attends the school one day a month and the rest of the time works at home. She mentioned that the training is attended by 500 students. I have asked her how many teachers there are, how many subjects are being taught and if she can send a picture of a part of the text of a subject. The claim that I made with the AXA Schengen travel insurance (which is compulsory) on 28 June no reaction has been received. It appeared that the student had broken a finger and she had to go to hospital for an X ray. An order for knitted mice has come in and have started the knitting again. Luckily I managed to buy beads for the eyes in Botswana. The project for the journey in May 2020 is to organize and supervise activities at the daycare center Window of Hope. To fund the project knitwear (mice, chickens, shawls, hats etc.) will be sold at the local foodstore Jumbo. I have asked the contact person at Window of Hope to ask the Ghanzi council and/ or the Government if they will add some money for very piece of knitwear that is sold. I am also collecting toys to take and consider which games can be played to occupy the children.
